Salam Charity in partnership with Shahid Afridi Foundation present Hope1000.
These charity iftar dinners are being held in aid of supporting 1000 underprivileged children and their right to education and wellbeing in Pakistan.
Hope1000 will feature Hamza Ali Abbas and Harris J. Your host will be Habib Malik.
We will have a close-up and personal interview with star actor Hamza Ali Abbasi. We will get to understand how he got involved in helping underprivileged children in Pakistan through the work of Salam Charity and Shahid Afridi Foundation and how this has helped save and shape the lives of hundreds of fortunate children.
Harris J will be sharing personal insights from his recent trip to Pakistan. You will hear Harris talk about his visit to Pakistan to witness the work Salam Charity and Shahid Afridi Foundation are undertaking, and how his interaction with the children has left an indelible mark on him.
Habib Malik will be fundraising during the events. Your help will pay for a visiting medical team, clean warm clothing and books for 1,000 children in Pakistan.

Hamza Ali Abbasi
Hamza is a Pakistani actor, model and director. He is most recognised for his role as Afzal, in the drama serial 'Pyarey Afzal.' He won Best Supporting Actor Award for movie 'Waar' and Best Star Debut Male award for 'Main Hoon Shahid Afridi', at the 2014 ARY Film Awards.
His role in 'Pyarey Afzal' earned him Best TV Actor award at 2015 Lux Style Awards. He also won a Best Supporting Actor award at 2016 ARY Film Awards for his role in 'Jawani Phir Nahi Ani.'
Currently Hamza hosts a show on Bol TV, and is set for his new movie release after Eid, 'Parwaaz Hai Junoon.'
Harris J
Born in London, Harris J is a British Muslim artist signed to Awakening Records. He won the Awakening Records Talent Content in 2013 which was followed by his debut album 'Salam' in 2015. It was certified platinum in Indonesia at the end of 2016.
In the same year Harris J spent a month in Jakarta filming a Ramadan TV series, 'Salam'. He then started work on a picture book celebrating peace, love, and happiness throughout the world using lyrics from his track 'Salam Alaikum.'
Harris is passionate humanitarian and social issues. He headed the campaign 'Love Who You Are,' highlighting the problem of school bullying. He visited Indonesian schools to address this important topic.
Habib Malik (host)
Habib Malik was born in Pakistan but grew up in Glasgow, Scotland.
He specialises in strategic planning, motivational public speaking, community fundraising and engagement, both locally and internationally. He has worked alongside government ministers and corporate directors, community leaders and volunteers assisting aid efforts around the world.
He enjoys travelling and in his spare time he is an avid sitar player.
